Patrick's comment: I confess, I haven't seen this film. When I saw a preview of it, with Tom Cruise in an eye-patch and a Nazi uniform, I thought, "How do you expect me to believe this character? A cute-boy actor playing a Nazi? Gimme a break."
Beyond the issue of wrong casting, I also confess that I absolutely hate most war movies, just like I hate most wars. Some few wars may have been necessary; but don't ask me to pay to be "entertained" by a war movie. That's not entertainment in my book.
